Digg Shouters That Don’t Allow Shouts

There has been a lot of speculation recently over Digg shouts.  Personally, I love shouts.  I don’t mind em one bit.  In my opinion, they have somewhat evened the playing field on Digg and have given new diggers a chance at seeing the almighty front page.

The thing is, if you don’t want to get mass shouts, don’t send em.  I mean you either want to play or you don’t.  Here’s an example.

This user shouts stories however, does not accept shouts.  So if you are friends with a user like this, it’s likely a very one sided relationship that you may want to consider terminating.

Watch out for users that do this.  The best way to notice it is to write down who has been shouting stories to you, then try sending a mass shout.  Their avatar won’t appear in the shout window if they don’t accept, so it’s pretty easy to figure out who does this.  Once you do, you can delete them.
